By acquiring new residents and helping them, you will be able to expand and build new shops with new items or abilities. It’s also where you can level up, change equipment and buy items. You gain new residents by expanding the oasis. The game has elements reminiscent of Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon. The game actually offers quite a bit more than its the basic fighting system and focus on exploration and dungeons. The interactions are fun, and you can prioritize which mission you would like to tackle next with helpful arrows on your mini-map. The demo showcased a simple fetch quest and a dungeon quest to gather certain items for a new resident in your oasis. Every situation is perfectly matched to the abilities of your party members. You’ll have to employ the various abilities of your party to solve them, whether it be Tethu’s wind spells or Roto’s ability to curl up into a ball and fit through crawl spaces. Puzzles are found in the many dungeons of the game. For example, Miura’s spear is the best choice against nasty desert snakes. You always control one of the party members, and you can switch on the fly, depending on the different weapon types and skills that are advantageous against certain enemies. Not only does the game look the part, but the fighting gameplay is a direct mix of Zelda‘s and Mana‘s real-time weapon-based combat. You play as Tetsu, a young seedling that is tasked to sustain and grow the last oasis in the world and protect it from chaos and darkness.
